Kari coaches midlife and beyond women help them lose unwanted weight without dieting, balance their blood sugars and alleviate joint pain and inflammation so they can enjoy an active lifestyle. Over 30 years as a Licensed Physical Therapist, she observed the physical, emotional and mental effects that people suffer from due to chronic stress on their health and well-being. This lead her to coach clients and redirect the course of their personal health challenges so they can fulfill their long-term health and wellness goals and live their best version of themselves. Kari is married to her husband, Chris who is a Chiropractor and they have a private practice of 35 years. Proud Mom of 3 adult children, 2 daughters and a son with 2 granddaughters. She lives in beautiful North East Wisconsin.

My Story

Ever since college I was obsessed with exercise and what I thought was nutrition, but really it was dieting. Skinny was in, but I loved muscle. I actually remember living on popcorn, bagels and diet coke. Where's the protein that fuels muscle? Add a lot of collegiate stress and I became a binge eater, but could manage it with over exercising. Add 3 kids in 2.5 years, owning our own business, knee surgery and menopause and by 58 I was at rock bottom.

I woke up in January of 2023 and realized I had to do something, but I knew DIETS do not work. I needed to change my lifestyle, but I needed a jump start to create momentum and belief. I saw a post of my friend, Mary, who had lost 40lbs and looked so HEALTHY. I thought if she can do it, why couldn't I? I called her and I was ready, sign me up!

Much to my surprise, I learned that I didn't know everything but rather just enough to keep me closed minded and unsuccessful. I needed a proven system, coaching, accountability and a community. It wasn't about restrictive dieting, it was about nourishing my body with food that fueled me. It was about addressing all the micro habits that all work together to create a healthy living style. It was no longer about what I couldn't have, but what I COULD have. It was about creating habits and new neural pathways in the brain that effect decision making. All of this was possible due to ongoing guidance and accountability on a weekly basis.

What I love now is my relationship with food is no longer about emotional or stress eating and fueling those feelings of "I deserve" that sugar or alcohol because of good or bad life situations. Instead, now I have respect for food as a means to fuel my body optimally. My clothes are smaller and I no longer dress primarily in black and layers to hide imperfections. I am not obsessed with heading to the back of pictures in order to be hidden. I love that my body weight is optimal and I can live each day with movement, ease, and a positive mindset.

My health and weight were not in a good place when I heard about Kari from a mutual friend. I was feeling sluggish, no energy, my blood pressure was creeping up. As I reflect on this health journey, it brings tears to my eyes for many reasons. My journey began in October of 2023. I was at a point where I had a full knee replacement the previous January.

My BMI was too high to do the in house day surgery because of many health risks. I was then forced to have the surgery in the hospital. Not only was this embarrassing, but also devastating. My surgery went remarkably well and I thought my life would just, "begin again." Only to realize that the weight I had gained over the years was not coming off. I became depressed and lost hope, but not for long as I am a very strong willed woman!! October 2023 I started researching various ways for weight loss, only to feel discouraged as I knew I would fail AGAIN! A friend, at the time had started working with Kari , and was very successful, so I decided to give it a try. The beauty of this journey is the amazing support from my Coach, Kari Resch. As well as online support, community zooms, group chats and videos. All this has led to a 66 pound weight loss in 9 months. I am currently, happy and healthier. My last annual Doctor visit revealed all labs in normal levels. I have more energy and my self esteem has increased immensely. I will never stop this journey of my new health and I must say this is the first time I have been this successful with weight loss. This is definitely my new lifestyle FOREVER!
